Hello all!
My name is Gareth Perkins and I'm a part time naturalist, budding nature photographer and blogger, and enthusiastic lover of all things nature and the natural world. My old blog Nature Note: The Adventures of a Northeastern Naturalist is still active and will feature similar stories about my journeys out into the forests, marshes, fields, and beyond.
My goal is to look deeply into the natural world and tell stories about wild characters, fantastic places, intriguing events, and fascinating subjects that other nature blogs may only gloss over. I hope to be informative, entertaining, and engaging and that you will find something to enjoy as I start out on my new writing path.
